CARCANOE is an independent car-rental comparison site. To keep this service free for travelers, we participate in affiliate programs with trusted booking partners — primarily Rentalcars.com (operated by Booking.com / CarTrawler) and Discover Cars.
When you click a "Book Now" button on CARCANOE and complete a rental booking with one of our partners, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is identical to the price you would pay if you went to the partner's site directly.
How we make recommendations
Our search results display live availability and pricing from our partners. Ranking is influenced by relevance to your search (location, dates, vehicle class), price, supplier rating, and availability — not by commission rate. We do not accept payment to promote specific suppliers.
Your data
When you click an outbound link, we log a basic record (vehicle, partner, timestamp, IP, browser) so we can reconcile bookings with our partners. We do not sell your data.

This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising," and equivalent consumer-protection rules in the EU and UK.
